Event Description
- The D2 Junior High Honors Festival is an annual event hosted at Tiffin Middle School for Band, Orchestra, and Choir.
- 2024 will mark the 39th iteration of this event.
- Three guest conductors are invited to lead the ensembles.

Details
- Registration cost is $20.00 per student (this includes a Festival Tee shirt that will be worn for the performance).
- Concert Admission is $5.00
- To participate, students are nominated by their directors via Google Forms sent out approximately a month prior.
- The event hosts will assess nominations, and then send out a list of accepted students.
- It is impossible for students to participate in more than 1 ensemble. Junior High/Middle Schools consisting of grades 6/7/8 may only submit 7th and 8th-grade students.
- Each ensemble has a rehearsal on the Tuesday evening before the event from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
- On the event day, students rehearse from Noon - 5:00 pm, with a joint concert starting at 7:00 pm. tendance is required at both rehearsals.
