Description: Co-Teach middle school band (5-8) & co-teach high school band (9-12, including marching & concert bands) by effective lesson planning as guided by the Ohio Department of Education Fine Arts Learning Standards.
Duties to include: 1. Preparing students for a variety of instrumental performances; 2. Working closely with head band directors as well as other music staff to develop & promote the Carrollton music program; 3. Attending marching band rehearsals & performances; 4. Assisting with any potential band fundraisers & attending monthly band booster meetings; 5. Communicating effectively with students, parents, colleagues, administration & community members; 6. Participating in all additional trainings, duties, record-keeping, evaluation & paperwork as assigned to the position.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's of Music Education, ODE Multi-age PK-12 Licensure, brass specialist preferred
