Qualifications:
The Centerville Schools Orchestra Program is expanding and is looking for a String Specialist to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year.
The position is middle school level in one building teaching 6th-8th grade string musicians. All levels meet daily.
The candidate would also be responsible for school based performances, an auditioned group meeting one morning a week, and program recruiting.
The candidate would work closely with the orchestra team to align curriculum, participate in all-district performances, and as part of our Honors Festival.
The candidate's primary instrument should be violin, viola, cello, or bass with a strong performance background in addition to orchestra classroom experience.
