Outstanding Administrator Award

Each year OMEA honors an Outstanding School Administrator in the state of Ohio. In order for this award to be presented, it is necessary for OMEA members to nominate school administrators who are deserving of such statewide recognition. Take a few moments to consider your school administrators. There are many fine administrators in Ohio who are committed to excellence in music education within their districts.

Please assist OMEA in recognizing these individuals for their outstanding service, dedication, and overall contribution to music education by nominating them for this award. All nominations must be submitted no later than November 1st to be considered for this award. The OMEA Board of Trustees will make their selection, and the award recipient will be notified by December 1st. The award will be presented at our Professional Development Conference

Please complete this form and send it with a resume of the candidate including education and employment history along with three or more letters of endorsement explaining why this administrator should receive this award. Letters can be from community members, parents, or colleagues.

To recognize administrative support for music education, this award will be made to individuals who have demonstrated active, ongoing support for balanced music programs. Nominations must be submitted by an OMEA member.
