The District 6 Middle School Band, Choir, and Orchestra Festival is set for Saturday, February 7, 2026, promising an exciting day of music education and performance for nominated students in grades 6–8. The day's schedule includes an intensive rehearsal from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (with lunch and a snack provided), culminating in a 4:00 PM performance in the Barberton High School Auditorium. Three distinguished guest conductors will lead the honor ensembles: Lisa Aglioti (Band Director Emeritus, Green Local Schools) for the Honor Band, Heather Cooper (Director, Summit Choral Society) for the Honor Choir, and Dan Nauss (Orchestra Director, Plain Local Schools) for the Honor Orchestra.
